Rue du Lac… higher, wider, more beautiful!
A fabulous extension and elevation project in downtown Geneva
For this large-scale project in the center of Geneva, efficient logistics management was imperative. Numerous constraints inherent to a downtown construction site were integrated into the planning and execution of the work.
Impossibility of using a fixed crane to bring in materials, obligations limiting the hours of work and the noise tolerated, constraints linked to the flow of traffic, imperatives linked to the respect of the well-being of the site’s inhabitants, allowing the free operation of shops on the ground floor… an exciting challenge that our project management team successfully met, with the creation of four new luxury apartments in the extension, four furnished apartments and the raising of the building in just 24 months.
