Capvest and the building trades: the Parc des Crêts real estate project put forward
In the video below, realized by the
Geneva Federation of Building Trades
(FMB), you will see the construction work in progress for our
Parc des Crêts
in Troinex, as well as other large real estate projects underway in our beautiful canton.
We would like to salute this educational initiative of the FMB, for the promotion of the building trades among the students of the orientation cycles of the canton of Geneva.
The objective of this educational video is to present to young people aged 13 to 15 the diversity of professional opportunities offered by the construction industry.
With more than 12,000 companies active in the construction sector and 1,000 construction sites underway in the canton of Geneva, more than 1,000 apprentices are being trained each year to join this dynamic sector.
Training young people: a social mission for the Geneva-based real estate developer
At Capvest, the orientation of young people and the further training of employees are part of our social mission as entrepreneurs. For this reason we support, through the
Ehden Philanthropic Fund
, l’
Biel Technical School
through the ”
Project competition
“which rewards apprentices who demonstrate their creativity and their ability to develop a quality project related to their future profession. The purpose of this award is to arouse enthusiasm, promote self-employment and increase the motivation of the winner for his or her profession.
In addition, every year, the event ”
Future of all kinds
“organized by the canton of Geneva allows the children of our employees to visit the Capvest offices and learn more about our activities in the real estate sector. These young people can thus familiarize themselves with the world of real estate development by spending a few hours with each member of the team, visiting projects and thus taking their first steps in the world of work!
We also organize field trips to real estate projects in progress. We have, for example, organized a visit with the association Paidos on the site of our project ”
Gardens of Ehden
“in Nyon, where 7 young people supervised by professionals were able to discover the world of construction.
Property management and development : Capvest recruits qualified profiles
Always in the spirit of creating bridges between the business world and young graduates, Capvest recruits trainees each year for long-term internships to offer a complete immersion in the group’s two business lines: property portfolio management and property development.
In 2020, Mr. Marco Morra, an architect with a Master’s degree in architecture-engineering from the University of Bologna and a Master’s degree in real estate finance from the prestigious Haute École de Commerce Essec (Paris), joined us as an intern for six months before being recruited to support the group’s growth in Switzerland.
In 2021, Ms. Carla Guigui, after obtaining her BSc in Economics & Finance from Sussex University, joined us for 6 months to support our marketing and real estate department.
